Nick van Osdol is a writer, operator, and investor, focused on nonlinear climate system risks and 'underpriced' stories and opportunities in sustainability, climate, and energy.

He works at Advanced Research for Climate Emergencies (ARC), where he leads the groups editorial strategy, supports its programs operationally and on narrative strategy and fundraising, and shepherds all other writing-related activities across ARC and its portfolio.

He’s also a first-check through seed-stage investor at Climate Capital, where he sits on two investment committies and focuses on category creation opportunities (e.g., in weather modification). He also makes occasional angel investments. In startup advising capacities, he works directly with teams to refine storytelling, fundraising, and GTM strategies.

All of these activities are leveraged by his owned-and-operated B2B media platform, Keep Cool, which provides news, analysis, & opinion weekly via both newsletters & podcasts to 15,000+ operators, investors, & policymakers in sustainability, climate, and energy circles.
