Sustainability, Climate Tech, Energy

Core focus

  • I lead editorial and marketing strategy at Advanced Research for Climate Emergencies (ARC), a philanthropic arm of Renaissance Philanthropy. I also support operations, strategy, and fundraisiing for ARC and ARC’s programs.

  • ARC’s focus is to incubate and help scale novel science, R&D, and intervention-focused programs to address nonlinear climate system risks (such as tipping points) that aren’t feasible in traditional academic or private sector settings.

  • I also run a newsletter, Keep Cool, that reaches 15,000+ operators, investors, policymakers, and decision makers in climate tech, sustainability, and energy.

Investing

  • I’m a first-check/pre-seed and seed-stage investor focused on 'underpriced' stories and strategies that sit at the intersection of sustainability, climate, energy. I invest and sit on the investment committee of two funds at Climate Capital, invest individually, and advise startups inside and outside my portfolio.

Freelance work

  • Historically, I have supported several startups on storytelling, marketing and GTM strategy, and have taken on significant freelance work to help climate & energy tech clients write newsletters, white papers, blog posts, & social copy.

  • Combined across platforms, my behind-the-scenes writing & creative direction has reached well over 150,000 people on regular cadences, catalyzed successful funding rounds, GTM efforts, and substantial audience growth for clients.
